It means, Almighty God made a promise for his safety.

49. Question: Why the disciples of Jesus, when they met him in Galilee, still had some doubts?

The Bible recorded - doubts of some disciples at Galilee:

And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And seeing them they adored: but some doubted.

- What kind of doubts and what about?

- Did they have doubts about Jesus being alive and saved from the accursed death of cross or something else?

50. Question: How can an heinous crime bring salvation?

As ascribed to Jesus Christ, the Bible states:

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

KJV Bible, Matthew 7:17

- How come that this heinous crime of persecuting him mercilessly brought such a good result?

51. Question: Making the arrest of Jesus Christ is a greater sin – Do you know?

As ascribed to Jesus Christ, the Bible states:

Pilate therefore said to him, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you, and power to crucify you?” Jesus answered him, “You would have no power over me unless it had been given you from above; therefore he who delivered me to you has the greater sin.”

- How can a greater sin bring salvation to the world? Sin means, being disobedient to God, breaking His laws and commandments.

Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

52. Question: Jesus accursed Judas for his betrayal – Why?

The Bible narrates:

The Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.

- But in-line with the church doctrine, it was Judas who made the salvation possible. If he had not been born, there would not have been any salvation for us.

Jesus said, “It would have been better … if he had not been born.”- Why the contradiction? Why is the church doctrine conflicting with this scriptural statement attributed to Jesus Christ in the Bible.

53. Question: Who can kill Almighty God?

God is All-Powerful, Absolute, free of all wants and worthy of all praises. Nobody can kill Almighty God, for He is eternal and immortal, free from the suffering of death. He is always alive and never dies.

Almighty Allah - Exalted be He, is out of the approach of the human hands. Sinners’ hands cannot reach Him or harm Him. If Jesus [peace be upon him] could have the tendency to be afflicted by death either by being threatened with crucifixion or natural causes, then he is no longer eternal and hence not co-equal with Almighty God, the Lord - the sole Creator, Sustainer, Cherisher, Provider, Protector of all creations.

54. Question: Why Jesus (if he claimed divinity) allowed the Jews and Romans disgrace him and do all kinds of insults and persecution?

Almighty God is “The Most High” and “The Greatest” with no comparison and He was never disgraced, is never disgraced and would never be disgraced at the hands of His disobedient creations. His creations is supposed to be humble and show humility to Him.

55. Question: Jesus never mentioned that the purpose of his coming was to give his life on the cross – Did he?

Salvation is only attained through keeping the Commandments of God; Jesus Christ never mentioned that people’s salvation is in believing Jesus’ death on the cross. Rather he promised that the heaven’s eternal life is in following and obeying the commandments of Almighty God as mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew:

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but ONE, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

56. Question: If salvation through crucifixion is true, then the credits goes to the Jews, Romans & Judas - Do you know?

It was the Jews who demanded from the Roman Governor Pilate to put him on the cross. And Judas betrayed Jesus and made his arrest possible; otherwise Jesus was hiding in the garden of Gethsemane. Chief Priests paid thirty pieces of silver to Judas for informing the authorities for his arrest.

57. Question: Crucifixion - One incident and many aspects?

- Romans took it as punishment of sedition.

- The Jews made it as a punishment of blasphemy.

- Christians think a sacrifice presented for our salvation.

- Jesus considers it a killing, when one of his disciples betrayed him.

---Who is right?

The Christian naturally reasons that, had he accepted this book, the Qur'an, as the Word of God, there would have been no dispute between us. We would all have been Muslims!

SOME PEOPLE ARE ‘BLIND’ AND ‘DEAF’

Despite the absurdity featured through the philosophy of crucifixion, followers of the Church believe in and preach it to others. Is it not an insult to human intelligence and to the Creator who gave us this intelligence? Such people are truly ‘deaf’ and ‘blind’ despite the faculty of hearing and sight given to them by Allah.

Almighty God affirms in the Qur’an says:

Deaf, dumb and blind they will not return (to the path)

Al-Qur'an 2:18

The Bible gives a similar message in the Gospel of Matthew:

"Seeing they see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."
