Методические рекомендации предназначены для студентов-заочников 1-го и 2-го курсов неязыковых факультетов.

Методические рекомендации предназначены для студентов заочных отделений неязыковых факультетов и содержат контрольные работы и тексты для перевода. Весь материал подобран с учетом требований программы по английскому языку для студентов-заочников высших учебных заведений.

При выполнении контрольной работы студент должен руководствоваться следующими требованиями:

1. На обложке тетради следует указать номер контрольной работы, фамилию, имя и отчество студента, факультет, курс.

2. Задания к контрольной работе обязательно должны быть переписаны.

3. В тетради следует иметь поля для замечаний и рекомендаций рецензента.

4. При переводе с английского языка на русский каждое предложение нужно писать с новой строки: английское предложение – на левой, а его перевод – на правой половине страницы.

5. Контрольная работа высылается в строго установленный срок.

6. Проверенная контрольная работа должна быть исправлена студентом согласно указаниям рецензента, а недостаточно усвоенные темы семестра дополнительно проработаны.

7. Для защиты контрольной работы следует знать весь грамматический материал, рекомендованный для выполнения контрольной работы, уметь находить и правильно переводить данные грамматические формы в связном тексте, уметь употреблять данные грамматические формы в письменной и устной речи, знать необходимый лексический материал.

Welcome to the National Museum, ladies and gentlemen. We’ve only got one hour and … a lot to see, so let’s start.

On your left, you can see a painting by Rembrandt. … seven works by Rembrandt here now. Last year … eight but sadly … a robbery at the museum some months ago and the painting was stolen.
