Frank's POV. I was working at my desk in my office

I was working at my desk in my office. It was five minutes until everyone was due to start work, so not everyone was there yet. I'd come in early to try and get a head start on my paperwork, knowing that as soon as I saw Gerard, I would be distracted for the rest of the day.

And then I heard a knock on the open door. Spinning around in my chair, I saw Gerard standing there. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"So much for being late. Either you jack off fast in the shower or you didn't go through with it," I said, slinking up to him. Gerard looked mortified for a couple of seconds before going back to smiling at me.

"Remember what I said I was gonna do as soon as I saw you?" I asked him. Again, a mortified look appeared across his face, before he tried to hide it.

"Is something wrong Gee?" I asked him, stroking his arm. He gulped rather loudly and then shook his head.

"No," he spoke. He was acting really weird.

Well in that case," I said, cupping one of his cheeks and stroking it, I leaned in and just before my lips could touch his, Gerard spoke.

"No, don't," he said, pushing me away gently. I looked at him puzzled.

"Why not? Why can't I kiss my boyfriend?" I asked him.

"So you're positive that I am your boyfriend?" Gerard asked me. What kind of fucking demented question was that?

"Of course you are," I spoke. And just as I said that, I got the biggest shock of my life. Gerard clicked his fingers like he did when he was gonna light his cigarette, but instead of flames coming out, ice shot out of his finger, making an icicle on the roof of my office. I looked at him confused, and then I figured it out.

"Erica?" I asked the person who looked like Gerard. 'Gerard' smiled and nodded.

"Whoa. You morphed into Gerard. Although his lips need to be a little more plump. I would know. I have kissed them one hell of a lot," I spoke to her.

"Oh, ok," she spoke in Gerard's voice.

"You can morph your vocal cords too?" I asked her.

"Yeah," she spoke, as the real Gerard entered my office. He looked over at Erica/Gerard and chuckled before walking right up to me and kissing me so hard that I saw stars. Pulling away from me, we both grinned at one another.

"You didn't kiss her did you?" he asked me.

"Almost. She stopped me. But how did you know that it was Erica?" I asked.

"She called me up last night and asked me for permission to morph into me. She wanted to see if she could fool people," Gerard explained.

"Yeah, and I fooled you, and you're his boyfriend. So that means it must work," she added before morphing back into herself. She was so fucking lucky that no one else had arrived for work yet. I wondered where they all were.

"So, you said that I was gonna get more than phone-sex?" Gerard asked me, making Erica look mortified. "What? We saw you fucking my brother on your dining room table yesterday. I think you won the let's-scar-people award." I giggled at what Gerard had said. And then my cellphone rang.

I took the call immediately while Gerard and Erica stayed quiet, trying to pick up what the phone call was about. It was from one of the constables at the nearest police station.

"Hello?" I answered. I never answered with my name, just in case it was for superhero business. I didn't want everyone knowing my secret identity.

"Hi, it's Constable Brown here. My Sergeant told me to call you. You are The Skeleton, aren't you?" he asked.

"Yeah. That's me. What's the problem officer?" I asked him.

"There's a worse traffic jam than usual in Times Square. We were called down to investigate and there's a wall of pink crystal on 42nd Street. It's a disaster. Do you think you'd be able to come down and move it?" he asked me. So that's where some of the workers were. They were down at Times Square.

"Uh, yeah, sure, I'll bring The Dark Ninja along with me," I told him. "See you soon," I spoke, before hanging up.

"Who was that? And what have you gotten us into?" Gerard asked.

"It was a cop and apparently there is a wall of pink crystal on 42nd Street. It's causing huge traffic problems," I explained. "Now come on, we need to go home and get changed. I'll meet you at your place in five minutes," I told him.

I raced home to get changed, seeing Gerard in 4 minutes instead of five. Once we were both ready, Gerard flew us over to Manhattan where all the shit had turned nasty.
