| Kwanzaa is a new festival in the American calendar. It is a at time

| of reaffirming African-American people, from their ancestors and

| culture. It was founded in 1966 by Dr Maulana Karenga. Today

| more than 15 million people celebrate Kwanzaa. The word can means

| “first fruits of the harvest” in the African of language, Kiswahili. It is

| celebrated from December 26th to January 1st and is based out on
|
| seven guiding principles, one for each day of the same observance.

| The necessary objects to prepare the home for the celebration are the
