Frank's POV. "HOT GIRL!!!" I called out

"HOT GIRL!!!" I called out. She appeared on the other side of the hole.

"Listen, I've gotta go re-freeze Dumb and Dumber. I'll think of something and come back to help," she told us as the acid continued to slowly liquidize. If something wasn't done soon, we were gonna get eaten alive by the acid.

About two minutes later, Erica came back and the liquidized crystal was now a very fine stream of continuous acid leaking down from the building.

"Hot Girl, we're gonna die! What the hell should we do? Should I take everyone to the bathroom and try and find the main sewer pipe?" I asked her. A lot of the people we were saving said 'ew' to that. Well honestly, would they prefer to die? Because smelling like shit might be our only chance of survival!

"Let me try something first," she told us. "Stand away from the hole," she instructed.

Everyone moved away as Erica brought her hands up. Ice shot out of her hands and froze the crystal all around the hole, freezing it to stop any dripping. At the same time, she also did something crafty with the ice to make it so that the acid dripping down from up higher was directed to flow down the sides of the hole.when the liquid-acid touched the ice, it steamed away.

"Come on, you don't have long. The sun's blaring down right on this part of town and the acid will melt the ice quicker!" Erica exclaimed. I guessed that as soon as the ice melted, the acid would begin to drip down again.

"Ok, single file everyone. One at a time through the hole," Gerard said to the people. Suddenly a line was formed and people started heading out. Occasionally, Erica would fly away to re-freeze Bob and Ray. It took about ten minutes in total to get everyone out. During that time, Gerard had gone through every level of the building to check whether or not everyone was evacuated. The ice around the hole was on its last legs as Gerard exited the building. I was the last to go through.

As I exited, the ice began to give way. I then heard a quiet sob from inside the foyer. I turned around and noticed a small child, about 3 or 4 years old, crawled up under a table. Running back inside the building and ignoring Gerard's calls for me, I raced over to the little kid.

"Hey, what're you doing under there?" I asked the kid.

"I can't find my Mommy," the child replied, tears falling down her cheeks.

"It's ok. Come with me. We'll go outside and find your Mommy," I told her. She moved out from under the table. I scooped her up in my hands and headed for the door. But it was too late. Erica was nowhere to be seen and the droplets were beginning to fall over the hole again.

"Ok kid, listen to me. I want you to hold onto me tight. Don't let go no matter how scared you get," I instructed her.

"Ok," they replied, holding onto the back of my neck, their small frame slung over my chest. I held her tight as I made a fast dash. I ran as fast as I could, hoping that by being fast through the hole I would avoid getting pelted with droplets.

As I rushed towards the hole, the young girl began to scream. The hole was close. I could do this, I knew I could.

As I shot through the hole, pain seared through my left shoulder.

"Ah shhhhhugar!," I exclaimed, collapsing on the pavement outside, the little girl still holding on as I told her to. Suddenly I felt Gerard and Erica's presence beside me.

"What happened?" Erica asked me.

"My shoulder, acid. Fuck get some water, it's burning!" I exclaimed, Gerard taking the girl off me.

"Are you ok?" he asked the girl. Suddenly, I was completely wet, from head to toe. A fireman had blasted me with his hose.

"Yes Mr. Ninja," the young girl replied to him.

"Does it hurt anywhere?" he asked her.

"No Mr. Ninja," the young girl told him. I sighed. I'd saved the young girl. I looked over at my shoulder and noticed that it was bleeding from a small gash. A paramedic had come over to my side.

"Mr. Skeleton, we'd like to take a look at that," the paramedic said. "We need to determine how deep the acid has burned through you," they told me. Suddenly a woman came out of the crowd of people who were getting ready to be taken out of the area by the police.

"My baby!" she exclaimed.

"Mommy," the girl called back. Gerard handed the girl over to her mother who then came over to me. The paramedic was busy attending to me as she approached me.

"Thank you so much," she said to me.

"Just doing my job," I replied.

"But you risked your life for my daughter," the woman spoke.

"Really, it was no troubles. It's all part of my job description," I said to her as I felt a sharp sting. "Ah fuck!" I exclaimed as the mother covered her daughter's ears. "Sorry," I apologized.

"It's ok. But thank you so much," she said once more, a police man coming over to escort her back over to the crowd of people from the building who were starting to walk away from the area.

"Haha! Look who got hurt. And look who forgot to freeze us again. Now we can do more damage than what we'd planned," we heard Dr. Krustallos speak. The paramedic was currently stitching up my wound. I wanted to so badly go and knock Dr. Krustallos and The Executioner out, but I was getting medical treatment.

"Don't you dare touch us again," Gerard demanded of them.

"We haven't ever even touched you once. But I'm sure my crystals have," Dr. Krustallos retorted sadistically.

"You know what? FUCK YOU!" Gerard exclaimed as a massive fireball came out of his hands and was shot straight towards Dr. Krustallos and The Executioner. It was the biggest fireball I had ever seen him create. And I'd seen him create a lot of fireballs before. It showed just how angry he was with them.

We heard screaming, but once the smoke was cleared, Dr. Krustallos and The Executioner were gone.

"Do you think the fire killed them?" I asked Gerard.

"No. I think they ran away. But I wouldn't mind setting fire to their pool house," he replied.

Once I was finished being stitched up, Gerard, Erica and I were told to move away as the fire brigade started up their hoses. The acid was all decomposed, however there had been some damage to the building. I wanted to get Dr. Krustallos and The Executioner, even if it was the last thing I did.
