The taxi with Pavel Rodionov stopped at the entrance of the Green Davidson Hotel. The doorman opened the door and helped him out. The bellboy came up, took his luggage, and then he led him through the lobby straight up to the receptionist. {Receptionist — R, Pavel Rodionov — P) R: Good afternoon. What can I do for you? P: I'd like to have a single room with a bath for the night. R: Have you made reservations? P: Yes, I called from New York. My name is Rodionov. R: Ah, yes, sir. Tobe sure. Here you are, room 205. Second front. P: What's the price? R: 48 dollars a day, sir. How long will you stay here? P: I expect I'll check out at about noon the day after tomorrow. Shall I pay in advance? R: Yes, please. You can pay at the cashier's desk to your left. Will you please check-in? The receptionist hands over a registration form and Pavel Rodionov'fills it in, giving all the information required.
