Read and translate the text.Ukraine We are citizens of Ukraine. It is an independent state which is located in the south-eastern part of Europe. It occupies the territory of about 603700 square kilometers. The population of the country is about 48 million people. Ukraine is a multinational state inhabited by representatives of more than 100 nationalities. The state language is Ukrainian. The country borders on Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. It is washed by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. The leading industries of Ukraine are metallurgy, aircraft, shipbuilding, machine building, coal-mining and others. The country produces planes, ocean liners, locomotives, robots, tractors, excavators, microscopes, synthetic diamonds and other goods. Agriculture is an important part of economy because the rich soil is favourable for its development. Ukraine grows sugar-beet, wheat, vegetables, fruit, sunflower. It is a famous producer of dairy products, meat and poultry. Kyiv with the population of more than 2 million is the capital of the country. It is one of the most beautiful city in Europe with long history. Tourists from different countries of the world come to enjoy its beauties and historical monuments.
