Text 1 Ex.1. Read the text. Dear Sarah I’ve got some great news. Richard and I are going on holiday for a whole month. Guess where – Hawaii! We’re leaving on 1st June. We both love swimming, so we are going to stay at a fabulous hotel right next to the beach. I am going to relax as much as possible because I’m quite tired after working hard all this year. We are coming back from our holiday on 30th June, and I’ve got lots of plans for the rest of the summer. First I’m going to work at a café because I want to earn some extra money and buy a new car. I’m also going to join a gym to lose some weight. Finally, I want to find a better job in autumn, so I’m going to start a computer course. Oh, I nearly forgot! On 16th August we’re having a garden party to celebrate Richard’s birthday. Please, try to come. You’re welcome to spend the night here. Well, that’s all for now. Hope to see you soon. Love. Jenny.

Text 3 AN ENGLISH WEDDING Read the text and answer the questions.
This is an English wedding. They are standing on the steps outside the church. The bride is wearing a long white dress and is holding some blue flowers in her left hand. The groom is wearing a traditional morning suit and is holding a top hat in his right hand. They are both smiling because they are very happy.
In a few minutes, they are going to get into a Rolls-Royce and drive to a big hotel for the reception. At the reception they are going to cut the cake and drink champagne. Then they are going to open all their presents. Some people are going to make speeches and both of mothers are going to cry.
At three o’clock they are going to leave the reception and drive to Heathrow Airport. They are going to fly to Bermuda. They are going to spend their honeymoon in a villa by the sea. They are going to be happy for ever and ever and have a lot of children.
