3. Go to Discussions – #19 01/29 Education-2. Answer these questions there: 1. Is the percent of children who come to public schools or to private schools different? (Use the graphics from the video that can be found on the next page). Give numbers. Questions based on the article from the blog: 2a. Review the schedule. How long are the lessons (periods)? How many hours a day do children spend at school? 2b. What subjects do children learn? 2c. How do children get to school and back? 3. What do you like about American preschool and elementary education? What do you dislike? Please, explain your answer and give examples. 4. Compare Russian and American elementary schools. Use criteria in your comparison. For example, classroom design, schedule, grading, subjects, etc.
You can choose either an audio recording/written form to answer the questions. You should post your answers by Sunday, February 1, midnight. Remember that you need to reply to one of your peers. You MUST create a thread in order to see your peer’s responses.
